“Language Council (Sapikhvno)” and Online World

Abstract

In the era of technological progress, modern society is becoming more and more informative, which gives the opportunity to exchange and interchange the views in any field of our lives. The online world can be imagined as an open space where there is no solitude, there is no only one, monologue. There definitely is the dialogue or more, gathering (council).This gathering is called “Sapikhvno” by us. The reason for this is that there are several sites in the internet space under this name:One of them is Sapikhvno Home (https://www.facebook.com/Sapikhvno/), the other is Georgian Sapikhvno (www.sapikhvno.org). There also is the TSU Forum > Sapikhvno (forum.tsu.ge/lofiversion/index.php?f63.html) and others.

The subject of our interest is the “Language Sapikhvno” discussant and arguer on language issues, the target of which is language itself and the problems related to it . The relevant material reflecting this kind of problems existed in the online world is analyzed in the article.
