Relevance of rhythm in the poetry of Mukhran Machavariani

Abstract

Dealing with the rhythm of poetry, one can illustrate almost every verse of Mukhran Machavariani, since his poetry is very rich in variations of rhythmic diversity. It is rhythm and innovations created using rhythm that form the basis of the poet's reformist changes. The Machavariani poetry confirms the hypothesis of Georgian verse qualification, according to which Georgian verse has not only a syllabic but also a syllabo-tonic form; Stress is the most important "weapon" of the poet when creating a verse.
