Abstract

Fragile and failed states, as a concept, refer to the condition of countries that are unable to provide effective governance and ensure stability. In such countries, there are organizational flaws in the government, widespread corruption, political and social instability, and the absence of the rule of law. These states often fail to ensure economic development, the protection of human rights, and security. The concept of fragile states includes countries that are on this path, where the situation is generally unbalanced, although they are not yet fully failed. These countries are frequently subject to civil wars, ethnic conflicts, and international intervention. This concept is of critical importance in international relations, as indicators related to a state's strength often determine its sustainability and well-being.
