Security Perspective of the Black Sea Region in the Context of NATO and the European Union

Abstract

The aim of the scientific work is to represent the Black Sea region as one of the main geopolitical locations for Euro-Atlantic security and the importance of the involvement of the international organizations (NATO, EU) in order to create a safe and stable environment in the region. There is analyzed in the scientific work that how important it is to deepen the relations of the countries of the Black Sea region with the international organizations in the military and economic fields in order to improve the social background of the coastline and increase the security of the region in the long term perspective. This scientific work shows that the threats coming from the Russian Federation in the Black Sea coastline have a direct impact on the Euro-Atlantic security. Therefore, it is important for European stability to create such an environment that requires a more strategic and systematic approach, since nowadays, the region is the most vulnerable scene of the global security. This scientific work examines the perspective of further expansion of the Euro-Atlantic Alliance and the European Union in the Black Sea region as the only response to contain the current threats and challenges, in order to maintain positive dynamics
