The role of resistance in national security of Georgia

Abstract

In the following study, resistance movement is discussed as a significant element of total defense. It is determined what role the resistance has in ensuring Georgia's security. The resistance structure, components and phases of how to conduct an effective resistance are presented. Relevant examples are given of what kind of challenges the government is facing in the process of implementing resistance forces. It is presented what prerequisites Georgian defense policy planners should create for the activation of the resistance movement. At the same time, special attention is paid to how important the role of resistance is, both before the invasion of the enemy's conventional forces, and during the full or partial occupation of the country, in saving the state from collision. The problem of the research is the specificity of the issue, since the process of resistance is a strictly secret action, it was difficult to find a limit in the research to make public the material, how could form effective resistance forces in Georgia.
