Archiving Policy

The Archived versions of Georgica – A Journal of Georgian Studies    are stored in three places. Should the journal be no longer published, readers will still have access to the archives via TSU, National Parliamentary Library and Institute TECHINFORMI. A backup copy is also securely preserved on the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University server.

We submit the journal content at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University Library for digital archiving for long term digital preservation. This information can be found at TSU Library Website: https://dspace.tsu.ge

National Parliamentary Library will act as an archive for all electronic information published by the Georgica – A Journal of Georgian Studies.   This information can be found  at the National Parliamentary Library  website:  https://iverieli.nplg.gov.ge

Institute TECHINFORMI of the Georgian Technical University (founded in 1958) will act as an archive for all electronic information published by the Georgica – A Journal of Georgian Studies since 2026. The content of the archive will include all publications. This information can be found at the Techinformi Institute webpage: https://www.techinformi.ge/.
